How a strain finds its room

The path from selection to category

Each category has its own set of dominant terpenes. These terpenes must lead every lot with the top position of total terp % with supporting terpenes sometimes testing higher.

First we analyse the terpenes

Terpenes suggest, the senses confirm. We smell, we taste. We check what is actually there. The aroma and flavour must align clearly with the potential category

Then Tasting notes & Aroma

Strain lineage is the third anchor. Kush’s settle one way. Hazes another, cookies and gelato their own. Lineage supports the category heavily but it never defines it alone

Last, we trace the family

Some strains break the pattern with terpenes that might not fit a familiar shape, an aroma that goes its own way or a lineage rare and unexpected. Those land in Pure Exotics, the option for everything else.

When it Doesn’t fit? Pure Exotics

Every strain must pass all three checks. Lineage supports but it never over-rides. If a strain’s lineage suggests OG Gas but its aroma reads like a dessert Cut, it belongs in Dessert Cut. Chemistry and the senses always win.
